Joshua R. Autrey Serrano

Check out the new new new website! http://animationandwhatnot.elementfx.com/home.html

I find it both ironic and mildly disappointing that I’m only semi-famous for a cartoon parody I made when I was in middle school. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1M25aoDSqo

I try to only put out there what I want seen, but there’s a whole lot more buried far beneath all the bologne.

The website above that I link to is a new new new website of mine because the old old old one I neglected, and the old old one got too complicated, and the old one had a really cringey design, even cringier than this new one somehow.

At least this time, I made it from scratch. Just design and basic knowledge of CSS.

Notice please, the Marketing Services page at the top in Elevator Pitch Animation’s navigation bar. If you or someone you know is hurting for business, I might be what you or they are looking for.

A Perfect Way to Market Yourself

There’s no limit to the creativity you can use to create the perfect marketing aesthetics. There are no coincidences. If something is near you, use it. Think about things from a new perspective, like Absolut did with their bottle campaign.

If I took all of the things around me and exaggerated them a little with some creative freedom, I might be a self-made superhero who has the power to control people through the use of sound waves and cymatics or an illusionist with the ability to summon worlds with a thought to trap any entity.

Dream big. Start small. Gain momentum. Be consistent. Never give up.

What have I been up to none of you might be wondering?

I’ve been trying to work on my voice acting so I can progress with my larger animated projects. The pixel art thing I took a break from but I miss it so I’m gradually picking up where I left off. As a musician, I’ve been seeking places to play my music with a little bit of luck. Business-wise, I’ve been doing more graphic design.

I’m selling my pixel art now. The first of many can be found here: https://www.zazzle.com/nyc_night_pixel_art_canvas-192923688101761229

BUY ME FOOD

I would appreciate it. Taste Cube will soon become a video food blog with your help.

https://tastecube.wordpress.com/ is still a newborn baby blog and I need food to review.

I’m not going to review home-cooked meals because the readers are going to want to experience what I did. That’s what franchises aim for; consistency.

There’s a ‘Suggestions’ page for suggestions; who would have guessed?

If you buy me the food, I’ll have no choice but to review it.

I’ll be sharing the Taste Cube opportunities soon enough.

Two New Old Videos

I moved two videos that I actually wanted to keep from my old YouTube account over to my present account.

I’ve never mentioned them before, but since they’re the latest uploads, I’ve added both cartoon videos to the ‘Videos’ page.

Let’s Build an Art Empire Step by Step

We could all just sit here and wish for our problems to go away.

We could all just pretend someone else is solving our problems and we’re just waiting on them.

We could, but nothing is ever going to change in our favor if we leave everything up to other people.

There are people who might not be the most talented or intelligent, but they are out there being productive. They are making money because they are producing something beneficial to society.

What is the first step? The first step to solving any equation is to break it down into something you can work on.

I’m one person, but together, you and I are two people, and if you add in that guy over there, we have three people. If we can get enough artists to support the art empire network idea from the last post, we can crowdsource and create the new default for art networking!

If it doesn’t happen, it’s because there isn’t a demand. If it does happen, THANK THE ENTIRE ART COMMUNITY!

National Blog Posting Month is Here! Expect More.

This November, and every year after, it’s recognized online as a month celebrating blogging.

It has derived from National Novel Writing Month, which will not be formally celebrated on this blog. I won’t say where you can find my informal blog, but it really isn’t difficult to find if you for it for a few minutes.

If you didn’t read the last few submissions, you may have overlooked that submissions are open for digital artists, especially for pixel art, to be featured in a video series showcasing the best new artwork online.

I’m going to release some comics in order to storyboard some cartoon projects. These may or may not become animated depending on the budget and popularity.

I’m attempting to put together more videos this month, seeing as how EP Animation is a media outlet for original content. You’ll be able to find old and new videos posted to https://www.youtube.com/animationandwhatnot

I take suggestions if they’re helpful.
